National health mission team to review state hospital

The team which has arrived in the city will be visiting different health institutes across the city till September 12. We will also review the status of pathological units in the hospital and will recommend better practices if any. RANCHI: Two Central review mission (CRM) teams who are under National Health mission (NHM) is on a four day visit to review the state's best and worst performing districts in the field of healthcare which happens to be Ranchi and Bokaro respectively.A four-member team which was led by J L Mishra, director of health services Madhya Pradesh ) visited Ranchi's Sadar Hospital to review the programs and their diagnosis methods implemented in the state under the NHM. "Three other experts are accompanying me and we will be visiting all wards across the hospitals.

The team which has arrived in the city will be visiting different health institutes across the city till September 12."During the inspection CRM inspection team will be assessing quality of services at district and sub district levels. They will also visit semi urban and rural health centres across the district and will try to find out the status of programs under NHM and will suggest any further improvement if required," said a health department official."Three other experts are accompanying me and we will be visiting all wards across the hospitals. We will also review the status of pathological units in the hospital and will recommend better practices if any. We are going to visit different hospitals and state-run medical institutes across Ranchi and then we will be presenting our recommendations to the government on September 12," said Mishra.
