Trafficked Sisai girl contacts home after one year, case filed

On Tuesday, her father met anti-human trafficking unit (AHTU) in-charge R N Jha and filed a complaint.Jha said, “We have received a complaint from the father of the trafficked girl . The matter has been transferred to Sisai police station for investigation and rescue of the girl.” He added that an FIR has been lodged with the AHTU against the accused. Gumla: About one year after she was reportedly confined to a house in New Delhi, a 17-year-old girl from Sisai police station area of Gumla recently managed to make a call to her family members and reported that she was sold by one Biru Sahu of Podha Nagfeni village of the same police station in March 2018.
