Officials will initiate action against any person violating the order,” the release added. The State Pollution Control Board has abeen asked to depute a technical expert in the HC area once a week to check the levels of noise pollution “We have decided that all police control room vehicles shall have a decibel-monitoring system, which is to be provided by the pollution control board,” said the Ranchi deputy commissioner Rai Mahimapat Ray talking to TOI.The district administration is likely to hold a meeting with the DJ Association to acquaint the latter with the relevant provisions of Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.“The association will be told that playing music at high pitch near the High Court or any other silence zone would lead to seizure of their equipment and punitive action.
