Ranchi: Three persons died in two separate road accidents in Ranchi on Sunday.
“Identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained,” said Santosh Kumar Pandey, in-charge of Nagri police station.
Police said that the accident happened while the SUV was trying to overtake a truck.
In the first incident, an SUV lost control and toppled three times on Ranchi-Tata highway (NH-33) near Surya Temple on the way to Deori temple in Bundu in the morning.
“The driver of the SUV died on the spot and others received minor injuries,” said Ashok Kumar, Bundu SDPO.In another incident, two persons died after a truck collided with an autorickshaw near CRPF camp in Tiril under Nagri police station at 7pm on Sunday.
