Rs 10L looted from bank in Dhanbad

At least eight criminals barged into a Bank of India branch in Kolakusma and looted nearly Rs 10 lakh on Wednesday afternoon. The criminals then at gun point took the bank manager to the cash safe and fled with all the cash. They also took the DVR that has CCTV footage. The bank employees and other eyewitnesses said the robbers were armed and the gang overpowered the security guard. The branch manager Vishnu Dutta said, “We are yet to ascertain the exact amount, but it seems that about eight to ten lakh rupees have been looted.

There was no electricity at that point of time due to which the alarm did not work.” Police have taken CCTV footage from nearby shops and have confirmed that at least five people were involved in the bank heist .
