Fashion show for voter awareness in Palamu

Officials said managers of various shopping malls and cinema halls have been instructed to play audio clips about the elections. Daltonganj/Garhwa: The Palamu district administration will organize a fashion show for women at Pt Deendaya Upadhaya Smriti Bhavan in Daltonganj on April 1 to sensitize women voters.Deputy commissioner Shantanu Kumar Agrahari on Friday said: “There will be two groups of women for the show. Activities like a cycle rally, candle march, wall of democracy were also held to make people aware about the elections. District public relation officer (DPRO) Anil Kumar said, “Since shopping malls and cinema hall attract big crowds, we are focusing on these places to create awareness.”Recently, the Palamu district administration launched a one-minute video clip of a rap song urging eligible voters to exercise their franchise. “The participants must be a local resident.
