On Thursday evening, the arrested Thanedar was arrested at Sonjodi in Barhet police station area on Sahibganj-Govindpur main road. He was demanding money from Ranjan Kumar Sah, the driver of the truck carrying the stone dust truck. On suspicion, the truck driver informed the Barhet police station after which the police reached and arrested him. A Sumo vehicle has also been seized. The arrested youth, Robbin Mandal, is a resident of Littipara in the Littipara police station area of ​​Pakur district. Preparations are being made to produce him in court.
Godda-based truck driver Ranjan Kumar Sah was coming towards Borio with stone dust. Four people standing with Sumo in Sonajodi stopped the truck and introduced themselves as Ranjit Kumar Bhagat, in charge of Barheet police station, and demanded money. On suspicion, Ranjan Kumar Sah informed Gaurav Kumar, in charge of Barheet police station. After this, the station in-charge Gaurav Kumar, ASI Uday Sharma, and other police officials arrived there. Seeing the police, the three youths fled from there. Robbin boarded the police.
In this case, an FIR has been lodged against four people at Barhet police station on the statement of Ranjit Kumar Bhagat. Police officer-in-charge Gaurav Kumar said that after questioning him, raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused. Barhet is the constituency of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. It comes under the Sahibganj district.
