Jharkhand Government to gift Rs 1000 additional incentive to 40K Sahia

The state government has decided to give an additional salary of one month to all health workers playing an important role in corona control.
The Jharkhand government will also give special incentives this time to about 40 thousand Sahais of the state doing various tasks related to corona control, putting their lives at risk. In the corona control work, Sahia will get one thousand rupees in addition to the incentive amount given in other programs. After the approval of the Center, instructions have been issued to all the Deputy Commissioners and Civil Surgeons in this regard. The Union Health Ministry has asked to give a thousand rupees incentive from April to September to Sahia engaged in various corona control works.
Similarly, Asha Facilitator will also get an additional incentive of Rs 500. At the same time, Community Health Officers (CHOs) and ANMs posted in Health and Wellness Centers have also been asked to give performance-based incentives. Explain that ANM CHOs are playing an important role in corona control apart from Sahia. Whether it is contact tracing or screening of potential patients or sending medical kits to the patients living in home isolation, all of them are playing their important role. ANM has also been employed in vaccination work. In the first wave also, additional incentives were given to Sahia, Facilitator, etc. engaged in corona control work.
