No Electricity Whole Day In These Areas of Ranchi, Get Updates

Power cut for the whole day in parts of Ranchi.
Jharkhand capital Ranchi in its northeast urban area will be facing a power cut issue for about eight hours today (Saturday). About one lakh people in the outskirts like Vikas, Bobro, Brambe, Ormanjhi, Pithoriya, and rural areas will have to face a power crisis for about eight hours on Saturday.
Due to the repair of the Patratu transmission line, there will be no power supply from 10 am to 6 pm. Upgradation work will also be done in Kanke Power Grid during the same period. However, the department has assured that efforts will be made to partially supply power in the above areas.
Generally, 60 to 50 MW of electricity is consumed in case of high demand from Kanke Power Grid. Kanke Power Grid will get less power by about 25 MW due to the closure of Patratu transmission line on Saturday. At the same time, except Morhabadi and Raj Bhavan, 132-33 KV Budhmu, Kanke, Sirdo-1, Sirdo-2 feeders will be completely closed.
However, in this situation, efforts will be made to normalize the supply by taking power from Namkum and Hatia grids alternately in the respective areas.
