Jharkhand: Daily Wage Labors Urge To Buy MLA For Two Lakhs

Vegetable vendors and laborers were urged to buy MLAs with 2 lakhs. 

 Doubtful but fact, three people were arrested by the Special Branch of the police who were involved in the conspiracy to topple the Hemant government of Jharkhand. The police have shown the arrest of these three during the raid at Lilac Hotel.

Police claim that around Rs 2 lakh has been recovered from them. The arrested accused have been identified as Abhishek Dubey, Amit Singh and Nivaran Prasad Mahato. Section 8/9 of PC Act has also been imposed against these three in Kotwali police station along with Section 419, 420-124-A, 120B, 34 of IPC and Section 171 of PR Act.

Relatives of the arrested accused say in this case that the police had picked them up from their homes in Bokaro two days ago, saying that the claim of the police is wrong. According to family members, Nivaran Prasad Mahto sets up vegetable and fruit vendors in Bokaro, while Amit Singh works as a daily wage laborer. The police had picked up both of them from Bokaro two days ago saying that they have to be interrogated in a case. Will be dropped in an hour and a half.

Police claim that these people were in contact with a dozen MLAs of Jharkhand. The whole matter is related to buying MLAs. In this case, the police team had reached Hotel Lilac. Other documents including CCTV were also scanned. At present, an FIR has been registered at Kotwali police station.
