2 TSPC members held in Chatra

Chatra: Two extremists of the banned Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee (TSPC), a breakaway faction of CPI Maoists, were arrested from Itkhori block on Saturday, Police said on Sunday. Arrest was made on a tip-off received by SP Rakesh Ranjan.Sources said a police team arrested the extremists from Satoni forest of Sarhaita in Itkhori block. Both are residents of Sadar police station area and are identified as Mukesh Kumar Rana resident of Sarhaita village, and Bhola Singh, resident of Deoria village.Police have seized a country-made pistol, three live cartridges and three mobile phones from them. They seized 6 country-made pistols and 43 live cartridges from him. The accused, a taxi driver, was arrested from Garhi Chhajju village mod. The illegal arms were purchased from Madhya Pradesh and were intended to be sold at a high rate.
