A high-level meeting was held today between senior officials of the Government of Jharkhand led by Secretary Industries, Arava Raj Kamal and the Embassy of Spain led by Chief Economic and Commercial Counsellor , Lucia Paternina at Jharkhand Bhawan, New Delhi. The dialogue was a follow-up to the Chief Ministers recent visit to Spain and focused on translating strategic outcomes into structured partnerships. The meeting covered key areas of collaboration including industrial investment, clean energy, exhibition infrastructure, mining technology, and tourism. The Government of Jharkhand proposed the finalization of a formal MoU and the establishment of a Spain–Jharkhand Coordination Cell to facilitate long-term cooperation. Special emphasis was laid on co-branding opportunities with Spain at upcoming summits and conferences, along with a proposed delegation visit by Spanish business and cultural representatives to Ranchi later this year. The two sides also explored collaboration between educational institutions and government bodies for capacity building, skill development, and cultural exchange. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to fast-tracking institutional frameworks that will support investment, innovation, and people-to-people ties between Spain and Jharkhand.
