JPCC to hold important meeting of SC Dept on June 11

An important meeting of the Scheduled Caste Department has been called by the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) in Ranchi on June 11. State Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore gave information about the meeting in a press conference held at the State Congress office. He said that senior party leaders including Congress state in-charge K Raju, co-in-charge Dr. Sirivella Prasad, National President of Scheduled Caste Department Rajendra Pal Gautam, State President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh will participate in this meeting. Kishore said that this discussion is an attempt to understand and express the life, experiences and struggles of Dalits. This discussion will work to empower Dalits by listening to their voice and this is a very important subject which the Congress Party took very seriously and also started implementing it, he said. The State Finance Minister said that through this meeting we will review the economic, social, and political conditions of the Scheduled Caste community because since the formation of the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party has been ruling this state for most of the time and the BJP has used this community only as a vote bank. Addressing the press conference, Kishore said that the party also demands that the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar be installed in the new Vidhan Sabha and High Court premises, along with this, a hostel for Scheduled Caste students should be constructed soon so that the youth and girls of Scheduled Caste living in different districts of the state get the facility to study by staying in Ranchi, which will strengthen their educational base. State media in-charge Rakesh Sinha, State President of Scheduled Caste Department Kedar Paswan, Chairman of Social Media Gajendra Singh, Co-Office In-charge Rajan Verma, Spokesperson Jagdish Sahu were present in todays press conference.
