Delegation from Punjab meets officials in Shillong

CHANDIGARH: In a step to resolve the ongoing tiff between Sikhs and the Khasi community in Meghalaya, a four-member delegation from Punjab on Tuesday met Hima Mylliem, the Syiem of Mylliem (local authority) in Shillong , seeking speedy resolution to the disputed land case that led to the trouble.Punjab jails minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa is leading the delegation that includes Congress MPs Ravneet Singh Bittu and Gurjit Singh Aujla, MLA Kuldip Singh Vaid and IAS officer D S Mangat.
