Assault Case Against Garo Hills Autonomous District Council GHADC MDC Registered

A REPORTERSHILLONG: A case has been registered against a member of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) for allegedly assaulting a minor boy on Saturday. The incident allegedly took place at Garodubi village under Rajabala constituency in West Garo Hills District, when the boy was playing on the roadside. A statement issued by Islam Hoque Choudhury here said that a case was registered with the Rajabala Police Station against Balachanda MDC Sofior Rahman. The statement says that after brutally beating the small boy, Rahman ordered his security personnel to also beat the child. Condemning the incident, Choudhury has also requested the district Superintendent of Police to take necessary action against the MDC “for such unlawful acts against the minor boy”.

Condemning the incident, Choudhury has also requested the district Superintendent of Police to take necessary action against the MDC “for such unlawful acts against the minor boy”.
