Khasi Jaintia Fresh Vegetable Supplier Association submit memo to State government

A ReporterSHILLONG: The Khasi Jaintia Fresh Vegetable Supplier Association (KJFVSA) has apprised the State government of the problems encountered by both farmers and the suppliers. The association comprises of local suppliers numbering around 85 and are distributors of vegetables in Meghalaya and outside the State. In this regard, a memorandum has also been submitted to the chairman of the State Planing Board, Lambor Malngiang. The association has pointed out that it is very difficult to obtain a vehicle pass for the suppliers to ferry their goods to their location.
