Meghalaya logs 350 new Covid-19 cases, Covid death toll crosses 1100 mark

Meghalaya received 350 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while 13 people succumbed to the deadly virus. As on 2nd August, the state`s total cases tally has reached 65,939. The north-eastern state has 5,843 active cases currently.

Meghalaya received 350 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while 13 people succumbed to the deadly virus. As on 2nd August, the state`s total cases tally has reached 65,939. The north-eastern state has 5,843 active cases currently.

The cumulative recoveries reached 58,987after 537 under-treatment patients recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24-hours. The total fatalities in the state have climbed to 1109 after 13 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The new cases of infection include 197 from East Khasi Hills, 31 from Ri-Bhoi, 37 from West Garo Hills, 33 West Jaintia Hills, 12 from East Jaintia Hills, 25 from West Khasi Hills, 0 from South West Garo Hills and 1 from East Garo Hills, 25 from West Khasi Hills, 3 from South Garo hill and 4 from North Garo Hills. South West Khasi Hills received 7 cases.
