Congress’ allegations against Jai Ram Thakur baseless: BJP

He said while Congress leaders were calling CM as “Naati wala (dancing) chief minister”, in reality they should decided whether Virbhadra was “sone wala” (sleeping) or “CD wala chief minister”. He said through their statements, Congress leadership was also trying to divert attention of people from the achievements of state government. SHIMLA: The ruling BJP in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday accused the Congress of levelling baseless allegations against chief minister Jai Ram Thakur to cover up the infighting within the opposition party.While addressing the media persons in Shimla on Tuesday, BJP’s chief spokesperson Randhir Sharma said Congress leaders were busy in factionalism and to divert the attention of public from their infighting, they were issuing statements against the state government. He claimed that during the last six months of its rule, the state government had done commendable job in the fields of tourism, drinking water, youth welfare and social security pension.
