The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) were roped in for the search operation on Tuesday.Venkatachari’s friend Apurva Sharan said it’s not unusual for him to go on treks, and it was one of the main reasons he took a sabbatical from TP Vision, the last firm he worked with. Before that, he had worked for more than eight years at Texas Instruments.On Tuesday afternoon, some agencies reported that Venkatachari had died and security forces were in the process of securing his body.
