14-year-old leaves home quoting illness in letter, parents suspect kidnapping

Parents have registered a complaint with the local police station here.Police station in-charge of Dharamshala police station Sunil Rana told that parents of the missing boy have filed a complaint and also suspected kidnapping of the minor.“We have started investigations at our end. DHARAMSHALA: A student of 9th class, Harsh Kumar (19) wrote a letter to his parents stating that he was suffering from some kind of illness and he doesn’t want to become a burden on his family, after which he left home. Photo of the youth was posted at various social media sites. The footage of CCTV cameras of the neighbouring hotels was also being checked to find out the clues in this case” he said.Parents were desperately searching for their son. Local activists have blamed that most of the children were more indulged with mobile phones and internet due to which they don’t interact with others leading to the misunderstandings creating such problems for the families.

Romita Devi has said that their son was not suffering from any disease and there were chances that he was kidnapped.On Tuesday evening, the youth had left his home to open a water valve near to his house after which he didn’t return home. Family members when started search at their end found a letter allegedly written in the handwriting of the boy that he was suffering from an illness and don’t want to be a burden on his parents and therefore leaving the home.Social media posts about the boy were circulating in the local area. Photo of the youth was posted at various social media sites.
