DHARAMSHALA: A 40-year-old man was beaten to death for allegedly eve-teasing a minor girl in a village of Nurpur subdivision of Kangra district . Police have arrested two men and two women, family members of the girl, for the murder. Police said that brother of the deceased claimed in his complaint that the man was "mentally unstable and unmarried".According to police, the man had molested a 15-year-old girl when she was on her way to the school. The girl narrated the incident to her parents on Saturday evening.Her kin launched a hunt and found the man sitting in a shop. They took him away and beat him with sticks and rods, police said. The enraged parents of the girl then took the man to school where his condition deteriorated.In the meantime, someone informed the man's brother about the incident, who rushed towards the school.Once there, he saw the condition of his brother and called an ambulance. However, the man succumbed to the injuries while being taken to Nurpur civil hospital.Nurpur DSP Sahil Arora confirmed that the police had booked four people of girl's family, including two women. "Body of the deceased was handed over to his family after autopsy," said Arora, adding that further investigations were on.
