Residents’ grievances addressed in Jan Manch

Shimla: A jan manch , fourth in the series, was organised in the state on Sunday. The remaining have been sent to departments concerned for disposal.Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha Dr Rajiv Bindal presided over the jan manch at Skiba in Pooh sub-division of Kinnaur district. He said 181 cases were received and 144 were disposed off on the spot.In Shimla district, the jan manch was organised at Sandasu in Rohru sub-division. A total of 461 cases were presented and most of them were cleared on the spot.Urban development minister Sarveen Chaudhary presided over the jan manch at Sishu in Lahaul-Spiti. Around 85 cases were received from 10 panchayats, out of which 67 were settled on the spot.Industries minister Bikram Singh presided over jan manch Thatukhod in Drang assembly constituency of Mandi district.

The remaining have been sent to departments concerned for disposal.Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha Dr Rajiv Bindal presided over the jan manch at Skiba in Pooh sub-division of Kinnaur district. A total of 432 cases were received during the programme, out of which 211 were settled on the spot.Irrigation and public health minister Mahender Singh Thakur presided over the jan manch at Nand in Nalagarh Assembly constituency of Solan district. More than 4,000 people participated in the programme, where 636 cases were registered.Food and civil supplies minister Kishan Kapoor presided over the jan manch at Haripur in Dehra constituency of Kangra district. More than 2,000 people from 11 panchayats participated. As many as 461 cases related to various departments were registered.Education minister Suresh Bhardwaj presided over the jan manch at Mazra in Nahan constituency of Sirmaur district and 281 cases were registered. Out of these, a few cases were settled on the spot while the remaining have been referred to the departments concerned for redressal in 10 days.Power minister Anil Sharma presided over the jan manch in Kohlari Panchayat of Chamba district. A total of 461 cases were presented and most of them were cleared on the spot.Urban development minister Sarveen Chaudhary presided over the jan manch at Sishu in Lahaul-Spiti. In all, 54 cases were received. Agriculture minister Dr Ram Lal Markanda presided over the function at Amb in Chintpurani Assembly segment of Una. A total of 400 cases were received during the programme and 134 were disposed off on the spot.In Bilaspur district, the jan manch organised at Kuthera was presided over by health minister Vipin Singh Parmar. A total of 389 cases were registered and most of these were settled.Rural development and panchayati raj minister Virender Kanwar presided over the jan manch at Manali in Kullu district. Around 85 cases were received from 10 panchayats, out of which 67 were settled on the spot.Industries minister Bikram Singh presided over jan manch Thatukhod in Drang assembly constituency of Mandi district. He said 181 cases were received and 144 were disposed off on the spot.In Shimla district, the jan manch was organised at Sandasu in Rohru sub-division. It was presided over by forest and transport minister Govind Singh Thakur. As many as 116 applications were received during the programme, of which 68 were disposed off on the spot.Presiding over the jan manch at Nalti in Hamirpur district, social justice and empowerment minister Dr Rajiv Saizal said 98 cases were received and 36 were disposed off on the spot. The minister directed officials to settle the rest of the cases in 10 days.
