Himachal Pradesh schools with hostels, coaching centres soon

He said nursery classes would be started in 3,391 schools to motivate parents to get children enrolled in government schools. Saying that all vacant posts of C&V and PTA would be filled on priority, he announced that efforts would be made to redress genuine demands of PAT and PTA teachers. SHIMLA: Presiding over the state-level conference of Himachal Pradesh Gramin Vidya Upasak (Regular JBT) Teachers Association in Shimla on Sunday, chief minister Jai Ram Thakur said Atal Adarsh Vidya Kendras, complete with hostel facilities, would be opened in the state. A provision of Rs 5 crore has been made for this, he said. He also said a separate transfer policy would be framed for teachers appointed in these institutions.Thakur said Medha Protsahan Yojana has been launched in the state to provide coaching to students for competitive examinations such as NEET, IIT and civil services.
