Jumbo revamp in Himachal Pradesh unit

SHIMLA: With parliamentary elections round the corner, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee on Tuesday announced its new team that has a mix of experienced and young faces. In the new team, the party committee has 15 vice-presidents, 18 general secretaries and 68 secretaries.In the 11-member state executive committee, the party has included former state president Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. Congress MLA from Palampur , Ashish Butail has been appointed as the party treasurer of party. Kuldeep Rathore was recently appointed as the HPCC president and organizational changes were expected. Among the list of 14-member permanent invitees are names of all the senior party leaders of state, including former chief minister Virbhadra Singh and former Union minister Anand Sharma.AICC president Rahul Gandhi has approved the new executive committee of HPCC on the recommendations of Rathore.
