Major administrative reshuffle in Himachal Pradesh ahead of parliamentary polls

SHIMLA: In a major administrative reshuffle, the BJP government in Himachal Pradesh has transferred 42 police officers including seven IPS officers and 36 officers including 7 IAS officers ahead of the all crucial parliamentary elections. Kapil Sharma who had been posted as DIG Central Range Mandi has been transferred as DIG (Traffic Tourist & Railways) Shimla. Kamal Kishore-1,who was the DSP (State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau) Shimla has been transferred and will be posted as DSP (Southern Range) Shimla. Meanwhile DIG Sunil Kumar has been posted as DIG (Crime, CID) Shimla. Meanwhile Saju Ram Rana, who was Commandant 1st IRBn Bangarh will now be posted as 2nd IRBn Sakoh in Kangra district.

Santosh Patil, who was earlier the Kangra SP has been promoted as DIG, he would however continue to remain the police chief of Kangra. N Venugopal who was IGP (Law and Order) has been shifted to Central Range Mandi.Atul Kumar Fulzele, and Puneeta Bhardwaj who have been promoted recently as IGP, have been posted as IGP Northern Range Dharamshala and IGP (Welfare and Administration) at police headquarter Shimla respectively. Kapil Sharma who had been posted as DIG Central Range Mandi has been transferred as DIG (Traffic Tourist & Railways) Shimla. Meanwhile DIG Sunil Kumar has been posted as DIG (Crime, CID) Shimla. He was promoted recently.Apart from the IPS officers, those from the state cadre who have been transferred include Kuldeep Sharma who was Commandant Home Guards Una . He has been shifted as Commandant 1st IRBn Bangarh in Una. Meanwhile Saju Ram Rana, who was Commandant 1st IRBn Bangarh will now be posted as 2nd IRBn Sakoh in Kangra district. Padam Chand, AID (Traffic Tourist & Railways) Shimla will hold additional charge as SP (Lokayukta) Shimla.The other state cadre officers who have been transferred include Kuldeep Chand Rana, who was SP (Leave Reserve) Police Training College Daroh will now be Commandant Home Guards Una. Balbir Singh-1, Addl SP Hamirpur as Addl SP 3rd IRBn Pandoh. Vijay Kumar Addl SP 2nd IRBn Sakoh as Addl SP Hamirpur. Suresh Kumar Commandant Home Guards Kinnaur will also hold the additional charge of DSP (State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau) Kinnaur.Yogesh Dutt who was SDPO Jawalamukhi will now be the DSP (City) Shimla. Kamal Kishore-1,who was the DSP (State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau) Shimla has been transferred and will be posted as DSP (Southern Range) Shimla. Rohit Mrigpuri, who was DSP 3rd IRBN Pandoh has been transferred as DSP (State Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Crime Control Unit) Kullu Amongst those transferred in the IAS and state cadre administrative services include, Special Secretary MPP and Power Ashutosh Garg. Garg he also holds an additional charge as CEO Himurja, he has been posted as ADC-cum-Project Director DRDA, Mandi. While ADC-cum-Project Director DRDA, Mandi Raghav Sharma has been transferred and posted as ADC-cum-Project Director DRDA, Kangra. Amit Kumar, Assistant Commissioner-cum-BDO Pachhad has now been posted as SDM Sundernagar. Joint Secretary (Home and Health) Kailash Chand who was earlier holding the additional charge of Secretary Himachal Pradesh Social Welfare Board has been transferred and posted as Joint Registrar Cooperative Shimla.
