Pakistan minister readies proposal on Kashmir dispute resolution

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan 's minister for human rights Dr Shireen Mazari said she has prepared a proposal on the resolution of the Kashmir dispute which she would present to the newly-elected prime minister Imran Khan in a week's time.Mazari made this revelation during a TV talk show earlier this week but refused to disclose the contents of the document. If the draft is approved, we will move forward on it," Mazari said.Mazari is said to have close ties with the powerful military establishment and before her swearing-in, it was even being speculated that she might be given the defence portfolio in the Imran Khan government.She was the director general of the Institute of Strategic Studies, a think tank on defence and security related issues.
