First women IPS officer to head Sringar sector for CRPF

Charu Sinha appointed as first women IG officer in CRPF at Sringar.
First female officer appointed as Inspector General of CRPF,Charu Sinha. Assigned on her prior experience, she had also worked as Inspector general , Bihar sector in CRPF. Various Anti Naxal operation were carried out by her.
Sringar sector , current general is Maheshwari from 2005.This sector never had a female officer at Inspector general level. Sringar sector have 3 operational jurisdiction over 3 district J-K-BUDGAM, GANDERBAL, SRINGAR & UT of Ladakh comes under it. Which includes 2 ranges , 22 executive unit & 3 Mahila companies .Charu Sinha will be heading operations involved in these sector.
6 IPS officer & 4 senior cadre officer are transferred in CRPF.PS Ranpise will replace Charu Sinha as head of Jammu sector.
