The case registered with CID is second major fraud registered against the duo.Baldev Desai, jailor of LCJ, lodged the complaint against the accused. Davda was recently arrested in a case of forgery with the agriculture department in Dang. The accused had borrowed from State Bank of India on the basis of an MOU signed with Lajpore Central Jail (LCJ) in 2015.The investigation has revealed involvement of Bhaveshree Davda and her husband Ankit Mehta, both residents of Navsari, in the fraud.
