Surat: 3-year-old girl goes missing in Surat, police begin search

SURAT: A three-year-old girl went missing from a residential colony in Limbayat area of Surat late on Sunday.Police launched a search operation to locate the girl. Family members informed police that she was playing outside home till 8pm and then went missing.Police have begun investigation into the matter after registering an case of kidnapping in this regard. The missing of another minor girl created panic in the area as three minor girls were raped in the city in the last week of September.During the same period a minor was allegedly raped by a migrant worker in Sabarkantha district that led to attacks on Hindi-speaking migrants in parts of Gujarat Police were informed by the 30-year-old father of the minor early on Monday that his daughter is missing since 8.30pm.
