Textile worker dies in freak accident

A case has been registered against unidentified tempo driver. Surat: A man died in a freak accident in the city on Wednesday.Police said textile worker Pradip Salar was walking on road opposite Udhna bus depot in Udhna when his foot got entangled in a rope hanging from a moving three-wheel tempo. Salar was dragged on road for some time and sustained multiple injuries on his body, including head. He was rushed to New Civil Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
