Zaveri and another person Ramesh Raval, 47, a resident of Navdurga Society in Varachha were caught by the Navsari town surveillance squad.Official sources said that two constables of the surveillance squad had received information about two persons arriving at the railway underpass near Aggrawal college on a two-wheeler without registration number to deliver the invalid notes on Thursday evening. A team led by police sub-inspector SF Goswami kept a close watch on the movements of these two. They were carrying a bag and waiting for some person to arrive at the underpass.When no one came to pick up the consignment for a long time, the squad members cordoned the duo and nabbed them.Goswami said, “Choksi and Raval had come to Navsari to exchange the scrapped notes with the new denomination notes. They have not yet revealed the name of the persons in Navsari to whom they were supposed to deliver the notes.
