Kamrej-Palsana corridor along NH to get 4 FSI

Surat: The Gujarat government on Tuesday approved development plan (DP) for the Kamrej-Palsana stretch on Ahmedabad-Mumbai national highway submitted by Surat Urban Development Authority (SUDA).The stretch starting from Kamrej to Palsana will undergo high-density residential development upto one kilometre on both the sides of the road.The land owners and developers would get the benefit of floor space index (FSI) of four in this area, out of which base FSI will be 1.2 which will not be charged whereas the chargeable FSI of 2.8 will be charged at the rate of 40% of the applicable annual land rate (jantri).The whole area will be developed under different town planning schemes and while making the draft on both side of national highway, 30-45 metre wide roads will be planned.As the second highlight of approved DP also know as DP 2035, nearly 100 hectares of land around proposed bullet train station at Antroli will undergo development and the entire area will be identified as high-speed rail corridor with maximum 5.4 FSI available to the developers.
