Surat: A 23-year-old-woman committed suicide at Nari Sanrakshan Gruh here on Monday. She was found hanging in the bathroom.Ankita Nagji Kaklotar, resident of Katargam, was brought to the Nari Sanrakshan Gruh on February 9. We have recorded statements of some witnesses.”Nari Sanrakshan Gruh officer Kavita Gohil has informed her parents about her suicide. We will try to find out the reason why she committed suicide. Her parents had filed a missing complaint at Katargam police station on February 5 after she eloped with her lover. The woman was found and put up at Nari Sanrakshan Gruh where she hanged herself after two days.A police officer said, “We have started investigation to find out where her lover is? She has not written any suicide note. We will try to find out the reason why she committed suicide. We have recorded statements of some witnesses.”Nari Sanrakshan Gruh officer Kavita Gohil has informed her parents about her suicide.
