Bharuch police caught jewellery shop robbers

4 robbers who were involved in 7 September daylight robbery they were caught. The robbery took place in shop of  Panch Batti of Bharuch town in Gujarat. Police have recovered entire stolen booty of 27 gold chains worth Rs 27.46 lakh, five mobile phones worth Rs 25,000 and a wrist watch worth Rs 1000 from the robbers.

Bharuch police arrested 4 robbers who were involved in 7 September daylight robbery. The robbery took place in shop of  Panch Batti of Bharuch town in Gujarat. Police have recovered entire stolen booty of 27 gold chains worth Rs 27.46 lakh, five mobile phones worth Rs 25,000 and a wrist watch worth Rs 1000 from the robbers.

This incident of robbery took place in 7 September, they struck at Ambica Jewllery shop. Armed robbers looted the shop & fired three-round making two people injured Mahesh Soni and Nikhil Soni. Police told that four robbers have been identified as Ashish Ramdev Pandey, Ajaykumar Pandey, Suraj Yadav and Rink Yadav — all resident of Sachin in Surat all coming from Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh.

The movement of  robbers were tracked with the help of CCTV camera installed in Bharuch town. Robbers came as customer in motorcycle which was captured in camera. Highly advanced CCTV camera were installed under the Video Integration and State Wide Advance Security (VISWAS) project of the state government.

In the search operation of police found the motorcycle used in the robbery. It was found in abandoned condition near  bushes on the National Highway (NH)-8 near Palej. By gathering registration of the vehicle, police tracked the owner s address to Surat’s Sachin area. Then a team was sent to Surat and it was found through the technical surveillance that the accused were  somewhere near the Surat railway station.

The police found that two robbers had boarded the Avadh  Express from Surat railway station and the other two boarded from transport bus towards Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh.The railway police team at Ankleshwar railway station was alerted and the robbers were arrested from the train and the other two were caught from the transport bus.
