SURAT: Come Sunday and The Times Of India will provide people time and opportunity to reclaim their space under its Happy Streets initiative, which promises them loads of fun through numerous outdoor activities The city has a population of 50 lakh people and around 26 lakh vehicles, which leave very little space for any activity for anyone to think of on the streets. But this Sunday, from SVNIT College gate to Piplod Chowky , this whole stretch would be drenched in just sun and fun. Teenagers can enjoy skating and other sports like they did last year while their parents can play street football or badminton to unwind themselves. They can also do exercise for body and mind with their family and friends. There would be Zumba too for fitness freaks and plenty of cycles for other enthusiasts to swirl around to give their bodies a nice workout.Happy Streets is a concept which seeks to bring people together and make them happy through a variety of outdoor games. The previous edition of Happy Streets was a huge success with people.
