Man celebrates divorce, distributes sweets

Talking to IamGujarat.com, Rinkesh said, "Initially I thought that differences are inevitable when two people are living together and time will fix it.

Rinkesh Rachchh , resident of Vankaner, Gujarat took everyone by surprise by celebrating his divorce.Rinkesh got married three years ago with a girl from the same community. His was a grand wedding. Initially it was all rosy for Rinkesh and his wife but slowly the fights started creeping in. Talking to IamGujarat.com, Rinkesh said, "Initially I thought that differences are inevitable when two people are living together and time will fix it. But the condition went bad to worse with passing time. It turned so bad that she refused to stay with my family."Rinkesh was forced to live away from his parents. Rinkesh tried to convince his wife to stay with his family but she was not ready to compromise. It only resulted in more fights. The condition worsened to the extent that his ex-wife once called women helpline number to sought police help.The fight between husband and wife became a routine and Rinkesh finally decided to separate from his wife. He says, "In divorce cases, women are favoured so much that men are hardly left with any option." Drawing example from his own life he says, "She demanded astronomical sum in the beginning. It was impossible for me to manage that much amount. After several trials we both mutually consented for divorce."His aim behind distributing sweets is to spread awareness in society. He says, "Divorce is not a reason to celebrate. But I want to bring awareness about how law is misused by many." He has not lost trust from love and marriage. Will he marry again?
