RPF seizes e-tickets worth Rs 66,000, arrests 2

The move followed information gathered by IRCTC officials regarding the use of personal accounts to generate huge number of railway e-tickets of long distance destinations from the city.The raids were conducted under the leadership of RPF police inspector Jagdish Jat and the IRCTC's assistant manager Rakesh Kumar.Sources said that the RPF team conducted raid at the Alkhadija Tours and Travels located at Tadvadi and apprehended one Ashfaq Mirza, 23, a resident of Sagrampura with 10 e-tickets valued at Rs 36,675, which were generated on personal user IDs.
