However, TMC officials said that no one was injured and the debris was cleared by the rescue personnel who reached the spot immediately and took charge of the situation.The Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) received 12 rain-related complaints in 24 hours, four of which were of tree fall cases.While low-lying areas like Dattawadi in Kalwa, Vandana talkies, Naupada, Ghantali, Shrirang and Vrundawan society and Uthalsar were inundated, residents said that the situation was brought to normal as water receded quickly, averting any major calamity.A four-wheeler, however, coming from the old city towards Khopat area was stuck in about ankle deep at Vandana talkies, causing considerable traffic in the afternoon.A traffic official said, “A high-end car was heading towards Khopat junction when suddenly it got stuck in the middle of the waterlogged road near Vandana theatre. Passersby then informed the traffic department. There was a bus behind the car which left hardly any space for the bigger four-wheeler to go.
