TMC floats tenders for much-delayed ROB at Diva

The construction of the TMC portion of the bridge will require 15 months from the date of issuing the work orders. We are simultaneously working on rehabilitating the residents coming in the path of the bridge at either ends. THANE: The final decks for shutting the level crossing at Diva by constructing a road over bridge ( ROB ) has been cleared after the Thane Municipal Corporation TMC ) floated the tenders for the much-delayed project on Tuesday.The TMC said it will be constructing the near 550m stretch at either ends of the bridge connecting the 90m portion over the tracks, which will be built by the railways. Following the mishap, the railways and TMC that were to construct the bridge over their respective jurisdictions had promised to fast track the project.“We have floated the tenders for constructing the bridge portion, including the landing at either ends in our area on Tuesday. The last day of submitting the proposal is August 7.
