THANE: A 50-year-old man has been booked for allegedly flashing at three minor girls in Mumbra on Sunday. The accused is a resident of Kausa and resided in a building opposite to the victims. The accused is, however, currenly on the run and a manhunt has been launched to nab him. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Ansari.“On August 26, at 2pm, Ansari was peeping out of his window. When he saw the victims standing in the opposite building, he lifted his lungi and flashed at them,” a police official said. The vicitms, who were between 8 to 9 years of age, were in a state of shock and immediately reported the incident to their parents. They then rushed to Mumbra police station and lodged a complaint.The police have registered a case under Section 354 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 12 of the POCSO Act of 2012. The cops grilled Ansari’s relatives to get information about his whereabouts. The cops have also formed teams to look out for the accused who is on the run.On August 26, at 2pm, Ansari was peeping out of his window.
