THANE: An empty suburban local rake pulling out of the carshed at Kalwa near Thane derailed on early Saturday morning affecting schedules of morning peak hour trains.The incident happened near the Thane-end exit of the Kalwa carshed blocking access for other trains to exit the premises since morning. Meanwhile, commuters from Kalwa who often board trains arriving from the carshed faced inconvenience.Central Railway officials said the situation would normalise soon. Accordingly, few local services originating from Thane had to be cancelled while others are being routed through the Kalyan-end exit of the carshed and taken to Dombivli and operated as special trains.Trains on the slow line between Thane and Kalyan are running late by few minutes.
