The relocation of existing historic Thane jail also got a push from the panel of senior government officials that met in Mantralaya while the corporation was also asked to expedite work on the Kalyan-Vasai water way route.The civic chief Sanjeev Jaiswal who made the presentation managed to convince the officials about the need for a better and improved infrastructure in Thane considering its growth in the future years.
