KALYAN: Overcrowding of local trains claimed yet another life on Wednesday after a 20-year-old fell off a local between Dombivli and Kopar stations during peak hour and died.The victim, identified as Nitendra Yadav, was a resident of Gograswadi area in Dombivli (East).

The accident took place when Yadav took the 9.30 am local to go to his office in Mumbai.A Dombivli GRP official said since the train was packed, Yadav was hanging on to the door when he lost his foothold and fell before Kopar station.Fellow commuters raised an alarm after which those seated inside pulled the chain and informed the motorman, who contacted the Dombivli GRP.Local GRP officials rushed Yadav to Shastri Nagar Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
