NAVI MUMBAI: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Turbhe nabbed three youths attempting to rob train commuters after a passenger alerted them about a fatka thief’s presence.On Monday afternoon, a youth was found armed with a stick on an overhead electric wire pole between Thane and Airoli.
The trio claimed that they had failed in their attempts to steal commuters of their belongings.
Meanwhile, a similar message was conveyed by an announcer to a RPF constable.
We arrested them after registering an FIR under Sections 153 and 147 of the Railways Act.
