This is because of the rise in temperature. Due to this, people tend to sweat more, resulting in the body losing fluids. If they do not consume a lot of liquids then it leads to fatigue and dehydration. Some patients have also been complaining of cramps in the stomach and leg, lack of stamina, not getting proper sleep, vomiting sensation and much more,” said Dr. Atul Gupte, a physician.Doctors have advised citizens to take adequate measures to ensure that they do not feel giddy, nauseatic and stay healthy. They have stated that one should not eat heavy food so that they don’t suffer from acidity or any other problems related to digestion as it could lead to diarrhea “Drink plenty of water, have fruit juices or drinks like lime juice, kokum, avala and buttermilk. One should ensure to always carry sugar in their pockets so that they in case they feel giddy or dehydrated they can have sugar water,” said Dr. Shubhangi Chavan, general physician.Experts have also asked citizens to wear loose and light coloured clothes, especially cover their eyes with sunglasses to protect themsevles from the harsh sunsrays.“If one witnesses irritation or redness in the eyes then they can put rose water or cover their eyes with cotton soaked in milk. They can even put cucumber pieces over their eyes,” said Dr. Gupte.
