KALYAN: The police arrested a 25-year-old autorickshaw driver for allegedly raping a 19-year-old woman in Dombivli on Wednesday. The police dispatched a team to Chhatrapati Shambhajinagar in search of another accused. The accused, both autorickshaw drivers, were friends of the victims boyfriend, with whom she was in a live-in-relationship.The incident happened on Sunday when the victim and her boyfriend were visiting the accused in Dombivli, said the police. The accused asked the victims boyfriend to bring alcohol. After he left to bring the liquor, the two accused raped the victim, said the police.The victim managed to escape but was chased and caught by one of the accused, who then got her into his autorickshaw and raped her, said the police.(The victims identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme Courts directives on cases related to sexual assault)
