71 mobiles worth Rs 10 lakh stolen from Charai shop

They realised that Jain's shop had been broken into because the shutter of the shop was open and most display items were missing. "We are referring to the CCTV footage to identify and find out the two thieves captured in the footage. We have registered offence under Sections 457, 380 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and will soon trace them out," said police sub-inspector Prashant Londhe. Jain immediately arrived at the police station to register an offence. The total phones stolen, include 36 Samsung mobiles , 13 Oppo mobiles, 10 Vivo phones, nine Motorola cellphones, four Gionee phones and two Lava and I-phones totally amounting to Rs 10.17 lakh, said Jain to the police.Police said that the proprietor was informed about the robbery in his shop by the neighbouring shopkeepers when they arrived in the morning to open their stores.

Thane: Two unidentified persons broke into a mobile phone shop at Charai and made away with 71 cellphones worth over Rs 10 lakh during the wee hours of Sunday.Police said the two, who have been captured on the closed circuit cameras, broke into the shop, Mr and Mrs Mobile Phones, owned by one Bharat Jain at around 4.30am.The duo used sharp equipment to tear the shutter of the shop and sneaked inside at the time when the night police patrol is relaxed and the morning rush of people is still to begin.Jain, in his complaint to the Naupada police, has reported that the duo chose their pick carefully and fled away with all the smart phones.
