1st responder training starts

A two-day first responder training to impart specialised training to aid accident victims began at the Kerala State Institute for Health and Family Welfare in Thycaud on Sunday. Shylaja said 200 persons, including drivers, volunteers and students were being trained by an expert team that included three senior AIIMS doctors. Ms. Shylaja said the endeavour was aimed at ensuring the role of the public in attending to emergency cases. The training would be soon extended to other districts. Health Minister K.K.
