Sr journalist G Mahadevan passes away

Thiruvananthapuram: G Mahadevan , senior assistant editor, The Hindu, passed away at a private hospital here on Saturday. He leaves behind wife Devi, daughter Mrinalini, father Ganapathy Iyer and mother Bhagavathy Ammal. The cremation was held at Karamama community cemetery in the evening.Mahadevan had started his journalism career in 1996.Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, opposition leader Ramesh Chennithla and education minister C Raveendranath condoled the demise of Mahadevan. He had been under treatment for two years.
