Sabarimala stir: Prohibitory orders extended till Saturday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Pathanamthitta district collector has extended the prohibitory orders existing in regions from Elavunkal to Sannidhanam till December 22.The collector has extended the order after reviewing the reports filed by executive magistrates on duty at Sannidhanam, Pamba and Nilackal regions as the existing prohibitory orders expired by Tuesday midnight.In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the collector said that tense situation still existed at Sannidhanam and surrounding regions following the Supreme Court order allowing entry of all women to the temple.
